My name is Julie Callesen. I purchased Harvey August 14 2010. When I first met Harvey and I held him in my arms like a baby, it was instant bonding! You had his name as Harley. We named him Harvey after a dear friend who passed. My life with Harvey was a joy! He was sweet gentle and a. Happy dog. However he was a protector! When I had a visitor, Harvey would sit at my feet on guard! Some of the sweet moments I’m recalling are when he was little and met a woolly caterpillar. He sniffed, it tickled his nose and he jumped a foot off the ground in surprise! It touched my heart. He was a beautiful boy! My neighbor called him Handsome. He was very vocal when he didn’t like someone. Harvey was a healthy dog due to the vitamins and food he was required to eat the first 3 years. I kept him on that diet for most of his life. I only told him once don’t beg. He sat down and patiently waited because he knew that mom would give him a bite 😊 I could go on and on. Needless to say Harvey was my 2 nd child. Love and miss him so much.

I got Kiki (new name Bea) from you. She was one of your retired Moms. She was the sweetest schnauzer I had (she was my 4th). I had to have her put to sleep the saturday before Thanksgiving and was one of the toughest days for me. She had a large tumor on her back and she declined quickly over a week and was in pain so I did the most humane thing. I miss her dearly and our neighborhood was devastated. The neighborhood kids loved her and she was so good with them.
Her favorite place was in my lap and that was my favorite place for her to be. She was 14 years old and had a good life and she made my life so special with her in it.
One of the relatives of a neighbor actually got a schnauzer from you as well and she was one of Bea\'s descendents.
Again, thank you for such a sweetheart.

Hello and Happy Birthday to Rika(Chloe)

It’s been quite the year for her and she’s learned a lot about our world.

We took her to many puppy kindergarten and pup play classes when she first came to us and these were really helpful.

She is the most bold and confident pup we’ve ever met!
She lives for wrestling and playing with big dogs, little dogs, medium dogs. It is her all time favorite thing.
We were hoping for an athletic, snuggly pupper who was up for travels, and she is.
She’s flown to LA, Phoenix and road tripped to the Methow Valley and Bend Oregon in the car.

We take her to our local park for daily hikes/runs and love how her ears float back when she runs.
She loves to be near us always, snuggles by our sides.

We have kept her ear hair long and well as her eye lashes! Cutest pupper ever!

She is awesome and we love her.

We picked up Sophie July 25, 2015. We have had four schnauzers in our 40 years together, but this little girl has absolutely stolen our hearts. She is almost ten months now, fearless, loving, social...the best yet! I\'m so glad we found Traci and waited patiently. Thank goodness for excellent breeders for those of us who love the breed!

Hi, Traci, here’s a very recent picture of Sparky and me. Isn’t he just a gorgeous love! He is living up to his name - a real spark of joy! He has truly become the 6th beloved member of our immediate family. I was hoping that my grandson would benefit from having a dog to love and this is exactly what has happened. You’ve never seen a happier 12 year old boy! Sparky is very playfully rough and tumble but so loving and gentle, too. You gave him a wonderful start and we’ve just tried to carry on from there. This whole experience with you has been A+ . . . we feel so lucky!

Sparky had his neutering surgery last Friday, 3/5/21. Certificate attached. All went very well and he is recuperating nicely. The hard part has been keeping him on the quiet side! Oh, these schnauzers, they are a lively bunch.

I hope this finds you well and enjoying the beginning of spring. Thanks ever so much for everything. What a difference you and Sparky have made in our lives!

We were delighted with this silly little dog. She is curious, spirited, playful and full of fun all the time. She loves walks, throwing the ball, running with more than one baby in her mouth, running up and down the stairs, and cuddling at all times. She was snuggly on the ride home and she will sit and hug and love at all times. She loves kids and going places . She herds us to bed each night and is cuddling as soon as we wake in the morning. She was easy to house train. She enjoys her back yard, watching the birds and going on long walks down to the beach. She is wonderful and we have enjoyed every moment since we got her. She is part of our family and she knows it. Like all of our schnauzers she does not play favorites and will check on each of us if we are in different areas of the house. She is perfect for us and we thank you for a great dog.

We have had Schnauzers since 1969 and hands down Ludwig\'s is the best, most professional breeder we have worked with. We adopted Kaylee on June 22 2011. The adoption experience was professional and extremely informative but very relaxed. She came home sleep and potty trained. Her first vet visit she received a perfect health check. Even took the Vet by surprise. He said she\'s perfect. To date Kaylee has never had a health issue. Great teeth, skin and bones. She never gets an upset tummy. Kaylee is our perfect little love. She is loving, playful and mindful but has a little Schnauzer sass to keep our home lively. Schnauzer greetings are the best! We take her everywhere and businesses that allow dogs all just love her. She is adored by everyone who meets her. Kaylee is well socialized with other dogs and quickly figures out her place amongst them. Perfect temperament.

Frankie is doing great and is turning out to be an amazing little dog. Still very affectionate and playful and absolutely loves and wants to constantly play with all other dogs and people. We took your first 12 weeks socialization instructions to heart and continue to introduce her to tons of new people, dogs, environments, sounds and smells and it seems to be working. She also has a great, mellow disposition and is very intelligent. Not to mention that she continues to stop people in their tracks for how cute she is.

We had a fantastic experience with Ludwigs. They take excellent care of their dogs and puppies, and handle everything with the utmost professionalism. I was very impressed with the home visit, the pups are kept in a clean environment with lots of room to play and plenty of toys, plus we got to meet the parents and even the grandparents! Our beautiful boy is now 10 months old, happy, healthy and part of the family, we can\'t imagine being without him, he brings us joy every day.

We\'ve had Bentli for almost 3 weeks now. She is a bundle of pure joy. Can\'t imagine not having her in our pack. The 9 1/2 yr old schnauzer loves her and thinks she\'s hers. I adopted Clara from you back in 2003. Her birthdate was 8/24/03. She was ten weeks old when I adopted her. Today she turned 14!!! She\'s doing extremely well! She adapted to life in Alaska with no problem about 10 years ago when we moved here from WA. She remains in good health. People are always surprised when I tell them how old she is. Her vet is very happy to see her and always comments on her good health. Clara has been with me through some of my best times and sadly, my lowest times. She has been the one constant thing in my life and she has gotten me through the toughest of days. Seeing her adorable face and her unconditional love just melts my heart again and again and again. Thank you again so much for giving her the great start to her life and for allowing me to adopt her!

Hi Traci,

Wanted to give you an update on Kaylee. We found a really great Vet, Bothell Pet Hospital. They were smitten . Kaylee was not afraid and everyone remarked on how mellow she is. She now weighs over 5 pounds and is in excellent health according to the Vet.

Kaylee continues to be a joy to Andy and I. Bailey on the other hand has learned if he wants quiet time that he has to go upstairs to his crate. Kaylee just wants to play all the time with him and he will only play with her for a little while (15 year old Schnauzers aren’t into that much play time.) She then finds something else to do.

Kaylee is going outside to go potty and has actually barked at the door a couple of times for us to let her out. At night time she still has access to the litter pan but I can’t tell if she is using it anymore.

Like I have said before, it is evident that Kaylee was given everything she needed to succeed before being placed in her forever home. Thank you once again for being such a great breeder. I will send you a picture of her after her first Schnauzer cut!

Tinsley is doing wonderful. He sees me from across the room and comes running. He slept through the night in a kennel, with out a peep! I\'m a light sleeper, so I know he got up and had some water a few times and back to bed. Daddy and I woke up at 3 to check on him and we went down stairs he pottied in his box 1&2. Back to bed, and I got up at 5:45 for work. He played in the bathroom while I showered, and dad fed him bfast. He played while I got ready. Nothing phases that kid, not even the hair dryer. He is bouncy this morning and playing with daddy on the floor when I left....

Hi Traci,

Well. I have to tell you that you have given us the perfect puppy! Only one wee accident on the rug, with all others In the litter box. He ate perfectly last night, and seemed ravenous! He did not show any anxiety at all in his new surroundings, and \"claimed\" his pen, his crate, his million toys and basically, the entire family room as his kingdom.

We had family over to meet him, and he loved them and was such a gentleman. He was Manding constantly, and they were so impressed with that and the litter box usage.

At bedtime, we put him in his pen with the crate against the open door. Wayne decided he would sleep on the couch close to him, but he didn\'t need to-after a teeny bit of whining, Moses was asleep, and stayed quiet the rest of the night!

This morning, we all got up at 6:30, and after a pee, we had playtime for 30 minutes. Then, I fed Moses, and he scarfed it up, played and pooped some more, and now I am waiting for him to take a nap, so I can read the Sunday NY Times ;-)

Thank you for providing us with the most amazing family member- I promise you we will cherish him and give him the best life. You started him off so well,and we will continue his training and socialization, I promise.

Sherman is my boy, born 3/28/11. Hard to believe he will be 5 next month. What a joy he is!

Sherm goes to play group twice a week and in January, he was dog of the month. If you scroll down, you will see a picture and short video. Sherman is just about perfect - healthy, playful, whip smart, sweet and well behaved.
