I work at the dirt track where part of the movie was filmed. The track has been a big part of my life for 20 yrs now.

Sadly we lost Ralph Nantz, the man that built and owned the track at the time of filming, about a month ago. Ralph was a great man and he will be missed greatly.

He sold the track to Ray Evernham about three years before he passed and Ray has done a great job of keeping Ralph's dream alive. This season Ralph's daughter and son-in-law will be leasing the track From Ray.

Was an extra at Rockingham. I was a news camerman when Junior Johnson told the newsman "Boy you better get that microphone outta my face" Of course my close up was cut. But what a thrill. Finally watched the movie and thought it was well done. It was very interesting to me because I'm from close by and my father was an early NASCAR driver until my mother made him stop. So I've grown up with racing and it was very good experience. Now that I've had a glimpse of how films are made, I have respect for the amount of work it takes to make it happen and to the talented folks who never even get an opportunity to participate even thought they travel and show up at sets. Happy holidays.

I saw the movie "3" and I loved it. I've always been a Earnhardt fan and I'm a big Earnhardt Jr. Fan! I can't wait to get the DVD...I met Chad McCumbee today he came to our parade thing that our town had...I think he did awesome! Loved the movie!!

I would love to buy the Dvd when it comes out, my hubby was a big Dale Earnhardt fan. we root for the whole DEI team. although Jr is one of the favorites from the team we really like Kerry Earnhardt the best, besides doesn't he look just like his dad? rest in peace Dale

Im still talking about the experience of being in the movie. It was fun and I met some very nice people in the process. Having 2 or 3 directors tell you to do 4 or 5 things in a scene makes me understand why the movies are so expensive to get together. But it all seemed to work out to tell a terrific story. Congratulations to all my fellow "Background Players" for a job well done !!!

I can't wait for the movie to come out. At the start of every race, I still cry for Dale. I miss him so much....I read messages on the message board...the people who are being so negative...in my opinion they weren't Dale's fans or fans of Jr's. To everyone working on the movie, keep up the good work. I just saw the movie 61 and Mr. Pepper is an awesome actor!!!

I have been watching nascar racing since the early 80's. I follow SR. career from his first Winston cup win in 1980 till his tragic death at Daytona in 2001. I hope that ESPN does this movie and Dales life and his career justice. I am looking forward to seeing the movie. To this day, I still miss seeing that black 3 out there racing.

I have been a NASCAR fan since I am 8 years old or around 1975, which is something if you were born in New York like I was. I became a Dale 3arnhardt fan in the mid 80's and like so many other millions around the world was totally crushed on the day he died. I only hope that despite the Earnhardt Family (DEI) not endorsing the movie, that ESPN sticks to the truth and doesnt take too much "poetic license" in telling the story. From his stellar Rookie season through 7 NASCAR Championships, from 19 years of Daytona 500 heartbreak to 1998's Daytona Triumph, and to the legacy that Dale 8arnhardt Junior carries on now. The truth need only be told.

I am and shall always be a dedicated #3 fan as long as i live, He was the only perosn that i truly idolized, a part of my life will never be the same, from runnin that old pink hot rod to the wrangler car and then the joining of RCR , oh how i miss you Dale , you were a living legend.... I truly miss all that he stood for , the space left in my heart will never be filled , only delt with the only way i can, by supporitg his son, so hopefully the legacy will continue...
