Born in Fresno, CA...lived in Rogue Valley since 1964

My father was the MIC (meteorologist in charge) of the weather service for about 20 years here in Medford...He initiated the project and was instrumental in installing the Doppler Radar on the top of Mt. Ashland; he also developed one of the first flash flood warning systems used in the United States....he was passionate about weather, as am I although I did not pursue it as a profession. He passed in 2000, but I like to think he is in the spectacular sunsets, blazing sunrises, and in the wondrous thunderheads that spill their lightening, thunder, and sweet summer rains....thank you for your passion, data and forecasting...keep up the good work....
