FRAUDULENT E-MAILS FROM FAMILIAR CONTACTS

FRAUDULENT E-MAILS FROM FAMILIAR CONTACTS
I have started getting e-mails from familiar names of other "collectors", both lamp and badge/check collectors. The content of these e-mails is just to get you to log on to a site that is a scam site and probably contains virus's. So if you receive any unexpected e-mails from familiar names inviting you to click on a link, do not open them, just delete them immediately.
I think someone is working from a combination of the NMMA members list and a compilation of e-bay id's. The addresses they appear to come from are a combination of a collectors name and / or his e-bay identity followed usually by '@aol.com and just invite you to click on a link to another site. The site will contain viruses or will be unwanted marketing sites. DELETE WITHOUT OPENING.
