Is it really March already? Dang. Time. Flying. It's been beautiful here in the desert, warm days in the 70s and the nights are above 30 lately so that's good. All is well here. Jonny has been busy down in San Diego and I've been holed up in the shed working on more clothing morphs, I even made a dress to wear to the Music Awards! Mom is busy working in her garden and getting the place ready for Dad's birthday party and celebration of life on May 9th. After that we're making plans to return to San Diego with mom in tow. We just have to find the perfect place to set up camp and then mom will find a place nearby and we'll all live happily ever after. If you know of anyone who has some land for rent or a camp host situation, please pass along this little website link http://listenlocalradio.com/us-edwards

Meet my talented pals from the desert: Kenny, Danielle, Joe and Hargo. Click on the images below to hear their aritst feature on The Listen Local Show. Danielle's feature was filmed for 1/2 FAST tv but just the audio is posted. If you'd like to watch the 1/2 FAST tv episode where I visit her at Reptile Relocation headquarters in Yucca Valley and meet Ringo, her amazing ginat Iguana, just subscribe to Listen Local Radio for as little as $2 a month and you'll get instant access to her episode as well as a ton of previous seasons and all upcoming shows. Thanks! www.patreon.com/listenloclaradio <----subscribe here!
Welcome our newest sponsor, Downbeat Music! Huge love to Sylvester (formerly of Freedom Guitar in San Diego, since 1972!) who is supporting the show so we can help get the word out about his awesome online inventory of used musical gear. Ves has all kinds of treasures and with his many years of connections, if he doesn't have what you need he can find what you need! His lovely wife (and my bff band mate!) Nisha and I made him a few commercials that we think are hilarious. You?
We are SOOOOO excited to release the radio play tomorrow! March 7th you can put on your headphones and join us on our adventure. We're super proud of Catherine Barnes for writing and editing this cool project and we're going to miss her but Queen Mab is ramping up so she's stepping away from providing beats for Calamity's live shows. We're grateful and honored to have Jules Stewart take over and when Jules is too busy our brother Rob Garbo will assist. Also, Nisha's cousin Katy is back in town to step in whenever our Pixie's schedule conflicts. So much good stuff happening in Calamaland! You'll need to subscribe to our mailing list (free!) to know what's going on, where to listen, and what to do. www.HeyCalamity.com
I'll be in San Diego next week for two great shows, I hope to squeeze you at one, or both!
