Love the SITE!!! Here in Buffalo we have a honkey tonk called the Sportsmens Tavern, we have seen Dale Watson, Jim Lauderdale, Roger Wallace, Asleep at The Wheel all for free, ! The owner and his wife keep music playing in there most nights of the week. In the fall it is the home of Stone Country band, if anyone ever comes up this way email me and I will hook you up with hard core honkey tonk!Thanks for this site I am spreading the word.

Just found this site today. Sure was glad to find pertaining to real country music. My favorites are the Bakersfield's Bunch such as Wynn Stewart, Freddie Hart, Kenny Price. Also the Texas honky=tonkers such as Johnny Bush, Dale Watson, & Justin Trevino. JUst keep the older country music playing.

Some of you might remember me from the old ezboard site as tcfan33, also known as the Terri Clark fan. I've been M.I.A. from these parts for a while. Good to see this site is still up and running. I just wanted to say that I haven't slept since the announcement of Terri Clark's induction into the Grand Ole Opry! I'm overjoyed beyond words. I always knew Terri had it in her...always knew she had superstar quality...seems it just took the industry a while before realizing it. They finally caught up! I am proud as punch to be going to the Opry for Terri's induction on June 12th. I wouldn't miss this great honor for anything. The Opry made an excellent choice. Terri wrote this in her online journal a few days ago..."I know I will do everything I can to help preserve the Opry and country music both, as well as the memories of the legends and artists that came before me, and my generation".
The future of the Grand Ole Opry is in good hands!
