kill the beast

I found this site a year and half ago. It brought a lot of memories to the surface I had buried so long ago. The physical abuse all healed, the mental abuse still lingers to this day. When I found this site I left a post, but did not read other stories. I didn't want to remember. From time to time I come back here and read one maybe two post, then have to leave. I have never slept well since my time there, but to say I have slept well since finding this site would be a lie. I am not knocking this site, don't get me wrong. I had done a great job of burying my memories. Now so many years later "BAM". It has all come back. Part of me wants to say "let it go, forget about it." But how do you deny the truth, by living a lie? I have never really understood closure for the family's of murder victims. How does execution give closure? I now understand. I need PCS to close. I need closure, I need the monster to die. How else do I make it go away. Keep shining the light on this monster. It can only survive in the dark and silence. I know the pain it causes. I know how hard it is to remember, I know your pain. It has been 29 years for me now since I left. Now 29 years later PCS is still messing my life up. I blame myself, for not having the internal fortitude to stand up to my oppressor. Please don't wait like I did. It will fester and eat you from the inside out. Stand up and speak out. If not to save others from going the, then to save yourself. Please help how ever you can.

Best wishes : John T. Smith
