i was a so called student there in the early 90s.Even in my 30s i remember every detail of what went on there.I remember my therapist roy burger.I also remember i wasnt allowed outside because i was a high escape risk.Standing what they would call ips for hours on end.A ips is where you stand in one place for a hour no talking or moving.if you did either of those you got another ip.I also remmeber a byu football player dragging my face on the carpet till i had rug burn on one side his name was bud.My parents would only know what they told them i didnt get allowed to make any outside phone calls.and when i was allowed them they was in roy burgers office being monitored.i really enjoyed seclusion,my lil cement cell for hours and days.But i enjoyed cleaning the vomit and fecies out of other cells when i did good with my ips.i was 14 years old.But the best part of the place is when my insurance ran out that same day i was on a plane back to houston.i learned alot.I learned to be a better parent than mine was by not shipping my children off to somewhere cross country that i cannot monitor myself.That place was awful,like i said 18 years later i remeber names and detail that i will never forget.But when i told my parents they didnt believe me.after all i was a 14 year old who smoked pot who would ever believe me.he funny thing is i was showing my son google earth and wanted to show him the place and it led me here.Feels good to see other people out there have dealt with this and maybe i can find some of my old friends that stuck beside me during ips and seclusion cleanings.jordan hall i know ya remember me philly ya tried to mail me a newport since ya got out before i did.not a day goes by i dont remeber you and smile my man.If it wasnt for you i never would have made it through that place.I hope that place and the people who run it burn in hell!
