Escape Attempts

There have been many escape attempts recently from youth programs. Some have been violent. Recently over a dozen youth at IVY ridge escaped in a violent revolt. This will continue to occure since the youth have no way to communicate with the outside world. Their mail is censored, thier parents are warned that any complaints about the program or staff are lies and manipulations that are used to sabatage the program, they are locked up, no use of phone or internet and they have no right to call an attorney or child protection agency.

JFK said, Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution
inevitable."

This is now happening. Something needs to be done to give the youth in residential treatment basic rights. Currently they have less rights than those incarcerated.
