Helloa all. New user here. I am the happy owner of a blue sardine. On my 1978 C&C 36 foot sailboat. I'm on the boat now, enjoying summer cruising in Desolation Sound. It's a bit rainy and cloudy these days, so I am using the stove. I'm contemplating a grate under the fuel. When the ash builds up is suffocates the bottom wood/charcoal. A grate would let air under the fuel. Andrew is making a metal basket to hold pellets, and it does this, but I"m thinking for my lumps of wood, I just need the bottom floor. Could be as simple as a pre made sheet of metal with slots already cut in it. rest is on some angle iron. Any ideas appreciated.
