i think that this song was influenced by Nile's Guitar style (from 02:22 to 02:40 ,it's more evident).What do you think about it?

This song was released in 1983. Nile Rodgers was at his top as producer and also as maker of the 80's sound.
The same year you can find Nile's guitar on such monster hits as Bowie "Let's dance", Hall & Oates "Adult education", Southside Johnny "Trash it up" and I think also INXS "Orginal sin".
It's not a surprise everyone wanted to get the Nile Rodgers guitar sound
