I found this song on the web : Les Svinkels - Le svink c'est Chic - They seem to be a French rap group that covered (and sampled the chorus ???) the song LE FREAK. Here is the link to listen to this song :

This band is a hip hop punk rap band.
That's not a cover but an imitation.
In France "le fric" is an "nasty" word for money.
So "Le fric, c'est chic" became a funny common french expression after CHIC mega hit.
On french TV you can now see a commercial for ING Bank with the original version of "Le freak" (not a cover). Another way to talk about money
