First official gig of CHIC in Paris since... 1979 !
At the Elysée Montmartre.

there is also a show at the casino in Deauville on the 22nd.

and then the WOMAD festival on the 25th.....

yes well...

why do they keep using THAT picture for promotion? everybody looks so angry! it completely mis-represents what the band's show is about!

besides, jessica will not be there, folami will be singing on this run of shows.

Following CHIC in concert since 2003, I never seen an official picture of "new" CHIC for promotion.
The one they used for Paris promotion is the only one I know... an I'm a diehard CHIC collector !

The flyer was distributed during a huge concert Solidays (against AIDS) last week-end with more than 160.000 people.

Great pleasure to see you on stage Richard with CHIC and also new Folami (she wrote very beautifull songs and has a wonderfull voice on her myspace).

FANTASTIC gig of CHIC in Paris !

There was fire in the crowd screaming CHIC ! CHIC ! CHIC ! CHIC ! and from the beginning to the end singing all the CHIC songs.
There was fire on stage with CHIC, so hot that Nile was exhausted and without voice at the end of the gig. He had such a big tribute of the crowd that at the end he couldn't left the stage.

During the gig Sylver talked to the crowd asking some questions about the CHIC history and she was surprised when the crowd talked about Luther, Fonzi, CHIC Mystique, Risqué...
She said the place was full of really CHIC fans.

During one minute Nile and Sylver had to sing Spacer and Sheila (Spacer) was backstage at the end of the show. There are photos of Nile and Sheila.

Folami is absolutely fabulous !

After the show everybody in the crowd said it was a complete success
