Hope all is well. I was wondering if you had a list of units that Chic sold per album. For example how many units did the album Chic sell, C'est Chic sell, Risque' sell and so on. If so, can you please post it. I've always been curious about that. Thanks.

I have no idea how many units they sold of each album??? Anyone?
The only selling figure that's mentioned constantly is the "Le Freak" single sales.

We (meaning we fans, not I, as in a royal we )also know that "Real People" was the first CHIC album that didn't go Gold, meaning the three previous albums sold at least Gold in the US. However I don't know how many units you had to sell for a goldrecord in those days, the number has changed frequently?

I know that up until 1988 or 89 an album would make gold at 1 million and plantinum at 2 million. To reach gold now you just have to sell 500,000 and 1 million for plantinum. Today's talentless artist have it sooo much easier then the true artist, like Chic, had in the past. Bernard and Nile really had to work hard to earn their props.
