I noticed on the credits for the song "Too Much, Too Soon" by Fantasy from '81 on Pavillion Records that Norma Jean was credited as a background vocalist. However, the lead vocal really sounds like her voice! Does anyone know if this might be the case? I know that this kind of thing happened a lot with dance records in the 80's and 90's, where the actual lead vocalist was not credited (just look to Black Box, C&C Music Factory, etc!).

the cd pics are no indication as you rightly point out about the use of session singers.

I mailed your question to Norma Jean and her reply is; YES she is singing the lead on that track.
