I lived in Whitby Road, Ruislip Manor (born there in 1941) several light years ago! I went to Lady Bankes as did my brothers and sister before me. Would love to hear from you with any memories of those distant years. Do you recall the Rivoli and Astoria cinemas, Ruislip Lido, Mad Bess Woods,Conker Trees at Eastcote Park, Bessingby Playing fields before it was transformed from a war-time lorry park, being given tins of Australian sweets and fruit cake on Anzac Day? I lived at 49 Lynmouth Drive and I remember you from that period.

I was often with Alan Hughes, George Brown etc and spent a lot of time in bessingby fields.

I have now retired and live at Ferney Voltaire in France.

Born in 1935, lived at 16 Lynmouth Drive from 1937 to 1954. Went to Lady Bankes from 1939 - 1946 then at Bourne Sec Mod till 1948.

Now live in Malta after 44 years in Guernsey.
