Shoreside park, 1 mile south of Pineda causeway. I will be there from 2 PM on with marks set up. Bring your own drinks, water, food etc. My model shows some wind at 5PM but who knows? Beth, Greg, Loic and Kona Man will be there. Still waiting for Gonzolo to call back, Antione has a birthday party, but who knows who else will show up.

It was gusting over 20 at times at Shoreside Park today for the first Melbourne Sunday Slalom. Riders came from all over the world, Loic from France, Vincent from Jacksonville, Beth and Greg and Chris L. Kona Man sailed on 11.0 Formula to start with Vincent on an 11 also. Loic sailed an 8.4 Beth 7.2 and Chris 7.5. Kona Man changed to a 9 after Vincent left. 2 marks set and mock races with no timed start. The planing jibe really shows at the marks as that is when the positions change. This really improves sailing as you have to sail to and jibe at marks, not free sail. Maybe next Sun?
