Mounted training this next weekend Sept. 13th

Stoneybrook Farm will be hosting this training and all trainings on the second Saturday of each month. There is a large indoor arena, a cross-country carriage course, good fields to work in, a dressage arena, jumps and other essentials. Mr. Charles Sherman will again be taking students in two classes, one for amateur and one for intermediate riders. It will cost $5 per horse haul-in fee and a percentage of the total instruction fee, probably about $10 per rider to attend the riding classes. You do not have to take the riding class to take part in the training.

There will be no shooting at this training but wear your uniforms and look military. Bring a lunch and prepare to drill. Starts at 10 AM Sharp. Contact me email captain@9thvirginia.com or phone 541-259-2229 to arrange for a ride for your horse.

Stoneybrook Stable
26595 SE Hwy 224
Eagle Creek, OR.
phone 503-637-3115.

The stable is about 1/2 mile east
of the Barton feed store if you are driving west from Estacada, if you get to Barton you have gone too far!

Directions driving east from Hwy 205:
From 205 take the 212/224 exit and head east. Hwy 212 and 224 fork at the farm store, take the right fork (224) to Carver. At Carver, take the left fork (staying on 224). The road winds several miles along the river until you get to the old Barton store and gas station. Just past the Barton store is the Barton feed store on your right (big red barn). Stoneybrook is .5 miles past the feed store, on your left.

Look for a small yellow "Stoneybrook stable" sign--the sign is close to the ground immediately after a small yellow house. Horses can stay overnight for an additonal $10.
