BOOK ON WELSH CHECKS.

Has the seller of item 270443688498 got a stack of these books or does the seller just keep putting the same one on ????This must be the fourth or fifth time it has been on.

Re: BOOK ON WELSH CHECKS.

They are genuine. He is either Brian Hoskins (the author and original seller) under a trade name or someone who has bought a stock off Brian to resell, or even a reprint.
These are good reference books on Welsh checks although not comprehensive. Brian ought to do an update version with more checks in. I am sure we collectors would give him access to our collections.
This one pictures each check with a description and estimated value. Values are out of date obviously, values got up to six times his figure, but have now dropped back a lot. But a good reference if you don't have one.The pages soon come loose with a lot of handling, so I have four copies. I recently bought another from this guy because I had given one of mine to another collector. The only strange thing I find about this seller is that the bids always get up to £20-25 before close!!
