european sales sites

i am wondering if any members have had experience with european e-bay type sites, good or other wise? obviously the language barrier is the first hurdle, and payments and posting, i would welcome any coments before i commit to buying anything, and getting ripped off! (it can be bad enough here at times)
look forward to your replys.

Re: european sales sites

I have never bought anything from the european sites, but I have had items from the american ebay and have been very satisfied.
No doubt you can ripped off anywhere on ebay. Most people are genuine and try to please you.
There are a few thieves and vagabonds on ebay who would go to any length to part you from your money.

YOU WILL CERTAINLY HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF IF YOU HAVE DEALT WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING,BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SAME FAKER.
DOVEHOLE, HARROPEDGE, WBA66123, PITLAMPS, SNIPEPIT, 6373JANICE, ERRWOOD, MADSLATELANE, SANTAIDD, SLATE_JANE.

When anyone deals with you wether buying or selling, look at their feedback and if you see any of the FAKERS ID's on their feedback let them know they are being conned. SPREAD THE WORD.

Re: european sales sites

This website as now become a joke ,there is no constructive subjects on anymore about mining memorbilia ,just a bunch of numpty's exchanging insults with one another who need to get out of the house a bit more. The website needs taking to the vets and putting out of its misery.

Re: european sales sites

The information about the TEN ID's that the FAKER uses is of interest to all collectors. If you have anything of interest to say, please do.
If we keep them in the limelight, it should wake others up to the fact that they are buying FAKE CHECKS.
MULLY THE FAKER does not like us keep putting his ID's on here for all to see, and he tries to play it down with his FAKE websites.

HIS SALES ARE GETTING LESS AND LESS BECAUSE WE ARE SPREADING THE WORD.

AND THAT'S NO BAD THING.

PS, I can assure you that I am far from being a NUMPTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: european sales sites

I agree that all collectors, old and new, need keeping constantly aware of the man's antics. However the forum rules request that you put it on the correct section.

I have substantial collections of Lamps, badges and checks, so am a dedicated collector and certainly not a joke!!. I will share my knowledge and information with other collectors, especially new collectors. I wish someone had given me more information when i started, because as a green collector - I was ripped off a number of times by sellers who I thought were honest, but they were knowingly selling me junk.
Keep the warnings up, and those who are griping, post something on here to share your knowledge and examples from your collections.

And, by the way, I am probably the only poster on here who consistently uses his true identity with a genuine contact address!!

I have been on ebay for 8 years, and had dealings with
most country’s, I deal in anything small and valuable
especially gold jewellery, always use Pay Pal as your
means of payment, but be prepared to change like
dealing with Russia they like there payment in
dollar bills, send the cash in kitchen foil so the
X-ray at the mail sorting will not pick it up.
When ever you send anything out of this country always
make it clear that you cannot be responsible for the postal
service outside the UK its at there risk.
There is no problem with the Language barrier as
as ebay will translate.
