EMLEY MOOR STRIKE BADGES

CAN ANYONE WHO WORKED AT EMLEY MOOR, OR KNEW THE PEOPLE WELL, DURING THE STRIKE CONTACT ME WITH INFORMATION OF HOW MANY BADGES WERE GIVEN OUT AND WHOSE NAMES WERE ENGRAVED ON THE BACK OF THEM.
THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE BADGES WILL BE OF INTEREST POSTED ON THIS FORUM. HOWEVER THE NAMES ENGRAVED ON THEM SHOULD BE E-MAILED TO ME ONLY, ON THE ADDRESS BELOW, AND IF POSSIBLE THE NAME OF THE COLLECTOR HAVING THE BADGE NOW. I WANT TO CREATE A REGISTER OF WHO THE BADGES WERE ISSUED TO AND WHO HAS THEM NOW. THIS LIST WILL BE PRIVATE TO THOSE COLLECTORS HAVING THE BADGES AND THE INTENTION IS THAT ANYONE BEING OFFERED AN EMLEY BADGE CAN CHECK WITH ME IF THE BADGE IS GENUINE AND ON THE LIST. A REGISTER LIKE THIS OF ALL THE RARE BADGES WOULD ENSURE THAT THE BADGE COLLECTING HOBBY IS KEPT SECURE FOR THE MORE EXPENSIVE RARE BADGES. THE MORE COMMON BADGES ARE PART OF THE COLLECTING HOBBY, BUT DO NOT NEED AUTHENTICATING BY A REGISTER. THIS WILL ALSO GIVE FUTURE BUYERS OF THESE RARE BADGES THE CONFIDENCE TO INVEST SERIOUS MONEY IN THE APPROVED GENUINE ARTICLE.
