It's my understanding that there is "reciprocity" between a lot of the Mid-Atlantic states. So instead of paying taxes to the state where you work, you pay taxes based on your state of residency.

If you only have income after you switched your residency to VA, them I would say you file a VA return, and report that income only to VA. You need to check the state reported in Box 15 on the W-2, which you can find in the bottom left corner. If they put VA, then you're all set. If they put PA, you will need to contact the payroll department to see what's going on.
