private school

My wife and I have three children who will soon be schoolaged. We plan to send them to a local private school and will likely need to pay the full tuition ($8500 per child). Are there any tax credits available for this expense? We are in the 33% income tax bracket. Thank you very much.

Re: private school

I'm not aware of any tax breaks available to people who send their kids to post-kindergarten private school.

Even so, any money paid towards your child's after-school program or summer day camp counts as dependent care expenses when determining the allowable tax credit or reimbursements through your employers Flexible offered as part of your benefits package.
