Re: Amended return for Lifetime Learning Credit

If you filed your 1998 tax return prior to April 15, 1999, you only had until April 15, 2002 to file an amended tax return. However, it would not have mattered anyway, since the Lifetime Learning Credit only applied to classes taken subsequent to July 1, 1998.

I graduated in May, 1998 from medical school, can I still

claim the lifetime learning credit or is it too late?
