Private School

I live in Ga. I want to know if I can use the mileage from taking my son to school (private school) and his books and write them off on my taxes. He is in the 8th grade.

I'm not aware of any federal tax deduction you can claim for costs associated with sending your children to private schools. Perhaps there is a deduction allowed by Georgia that I'm not aware of.
