tracking deductions for moonlighting

I am a resident that has just started moonlighting this year, and know that it will be 1099 income on next year's taxes. Could you tell my what type of expenses I am allowed to deduct next year so I can start saving that information now. Mileage? Books? licensing fees?

Thanks

Check out: http://www.mdtaxes.com/mdbusexp.html for a listing of 21 expenses commonly incurred by medical professionals.

We also have an Excel spreadsheet available at:

If you're prompted for a password, just hit okay. If this spreadsheet doesn't save your data, let us know, and we'll e-mail you a copy to use.
