daycare expense

Hello,
If I need to fly my mom up to provide daycare for 1 of my children while I'm working and my wife has to care for our other DTR who is sick in a hospital, can I deduct that cost of my mom's flight as part of daycare?

Re: daycare expense

No. Its personal. If your mother is an employee of your home (you pay fica) then its permissible. But for her to fly without any business relationship there is no deduction.
