As a victim of a form of rape, we either are destroyed by the demons that enter us, or we release them in creative ways. Though it sounds like they had power over me in this poetry, well those are only short interludes and in fact God does carry us away from the inner destruction. But fresh on the scene from what I encountered was a depth of pain I have never truly touched til then.



Stillness by, Di



Stillness isolates me as I am forever caught in its gaze.

Echoes of night steal my dreams and tomorrow is no more.

The hoof men of darkness thunder past my pleading,

And I am taken by their speed.



Riding is the silent weapon of war and peace shall be no more.

Demons of fate hath captured me as angels rush in to carry me home.

Where oh where hath my little lamb gone, as the wolf bears down upon her.

Darkened beyond hope are my dreams, as I become the stillness in the night.
