Re: Welcome To the NZ Lotus Cortina Forum

Hi There Andrew. First off, thanks for your with the site info. Murray was really quick at getting back to me.
Welcome to the new site. I have been pretty busy myself setting it up as you can see there are a few changes. Not too many though.
I think it would be great to work with the Aussies to make get this site really steaming along and the best way to advertise is word of mouth. I am in pretty constant touch with the UK register and am trying to work out a way of making things easier for people to join. Any ideas from prospective members would be greatly appreciated.
Keep watching and keep in touch.
Mark.

Re: Welcome To the NZ Lotus Cortina Forum

Hi Mark, I hope this site takes off as the one in the U.K. has!
How many LC's are in NZ and what is the ratio of models? How many on the road or under restoration? so many questions....

Re: Welcome To the NZ Lotus Cortina Forum

Hello all,

Im in Australia and was looking at getting an aussie version up and running a while back but I lack the time and knowledge for web stuff. I do however have a list of most of the cars (genuine) here in Aus. I am in touch with most of these guys and most seem keen to be part of the LCR but have not yet joined. Maybe we could have a joint aussie and kiwi forum. Might work with parts and cars etc?

About me: I have a March 63 Car 4430PF the ex roy pierpoint car, I own a feb 66 car with 46K miles on it and a very tidy MK2 Lotus that I plan to use as a club/daily drive once the motor is rebuilt. I use to own co1558 that I bought from the south Island three years ago. I am constant touch with the new owner as he is restoring my early car.

Anyway, good to see it up and running and it would be great to chat to you guys and girls through this form.

Cheers,

Andrew

Re: Welcome To the NZ Lotus Cortina Forum

Hi there Mark and thanks for popping in. Being a member of the LCR i get the QB every quarter and really look forward to it as it is a great publication. We will be encouraging people to sign up with the register in the UK so it looks like you will be sending more of those mags down here.

'67 Lotus Cortina Mk1 dash wiring

Can someone tell me what the light to the right of the wiper switch is for?
Also I have 2 switches on the bottom left of dash. One is for dash lights. What's the other?
Thanks for any info.
