Bird's Eye Yorkshire

I came across an article today in a national newspaper titled ‘Bird’s Eye Britain’ and one of the photos printed was a spectacular aerial view of Ribblehead Viaduct, Yorkshire. These words accompanied it:

The East and West coasts had their own rail routes to Scotland. When a third route was proposed across the roof of England, along the Pennines, they said it couldn’t be done. The result was the stunning Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle-Carlisle line, built entirely by hand and proving one thing: the impact of the Industrial Revolution on our landscape wasn’t always bad. It could be beautiful.

All photographs taken by Adrian Warren & Dae Sasitorn

Their web site link was also included. I found about 50 aerial shots of the Yorkshire Dales here:

(copy and paste link into address bar)

Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
