Bradford

Hello Yorkshire. This may seem a silly question (but I am from the south so please bear with me here). I have a copy of a marriage cert for my 2x great grandad for 1850. He was married at the "Parish Church in the parish of Bradford". Please could someone be kind enough to tell me which church this is/was.
Thank you
Ruth

Re: Bradford

Hello Ruth,
My parents were married at the Parish Church in 1927 It is now Bradford Cathedral and is in Church Bank, near the city centre.
What was the name of your relatives?
Regards, Mary Garner, nee Sutcliffe

Re: Re: Bradford

Hello Mary
The family line I am trying to follow is Burniston. He would have been my g-g-grandfather and was married in 1850. The achivist at the cathedral was extremely helpful if you would like her details.
I now have the info I deed, just trying now to get copies of things!
Also want to get hold of the census of 1851 for Bradford to see what I can find.
Regards
Ruth Scott
