Long Time, No See....

Wow...it's been a while since I've come on here. Nice to see that the Jag forum is still going. How is everyone?

Following the John Mairs debacle, all is good.
Quiet but good.

Re: Long Time, No See....

I remember that whole incident, but that was a looooong time ago. I'm surprised that the "how you'd injure JM" option is still there!

Quiet is good. Better quiet than busy with an unneeded ruckus, right?

Re: Long Time, No See....

Yes but I hope the Olde Macusers aren't retiring their machines. I'm using Leopard at work and it is getting towards the bloated end of the scale I'm afraid... it's starting to feel very Microsloth-y. Can't beat System 6 for me.

Re: Long Time, No See....

I'm starting to think that way of Apple as a whole now. This isn't the same Apple that I've known for years....it's becoming more and more like the Microsoft of the 90s, and I fear it's not going to get any better. I have a Quadra that's lasted since its inception, yet I have an almost 3 year old iMac G5 that is in for the caps issue for a second time in 4 months and it's taken practically two weeks to get the parts replaced (and they have them in the store!). I can only hope that Apple doesn't continue down this road of poor QA.

I haven't used Leopard much other than when I've been at the Apple Store to take in my iMac, but I don't find anything spectacular in it so far over Tiger.

Re: Long Time, No See....

I don't exactly like what they have done either, Apple's starting to what MS does, by making products with really nothing to special or different, or to at least catch people's attention, I have not seen much improvement w/ the Macbook, neither the Macbook Air, older Mac's are nice, because they mostly all have a design all it's own. It's really to bad, oh well. Some things change...

I'll always be a Macintosh fan, always.....
