No picture on icons!!!
Alright, so I have a Performa 6300CD I just dug out of the recycling center bin of computers, it had the actual monitor, and wrapped keyboard and Apple Bus Mouse II mouse, well I also had a 6205CD, I thought it would be cool to compare the twins, anyway, I turned it on, everything was working fine, except one time I turned it on, and all the icons that were supposed to be there with the little labels on them were gone! Except, I got the applications symbol. (The hand with a pencil). I tried looking for what was wrong ( I even zapped the PRAM!), but it still is there... PLEASE HELP ME!! any replies would be nice. Thanks! |

Nick Holding down option + command (I think that's the key combination)while starting up will rebuild the desktop and give things a fresh start. It's worth a try anyway. |
