I just wanted to comment on the issue of the sticking switches and using WD 40 on them. I have to agree with Charlie and say to use a good quality electrical/contact cleaner instead. The WD stands for water displacing, which at first thought sounds good, but in fact what it does is pulls moisture from the material and allows it to pool on the surface. After a period of time the metal will corrode faster and more severely than before.
