spray some electric contact cleaner around the switch should take care of it. Glenn most agree that using the reverse is not a good idea the dogs on the reverse/starter motor are not stressed to hold the bike as a parking brake. using a strip of velcro wrapped around the hand grip and the brake lever pulled tight makes a much better parking brake.
