I hope we can start having meetings again. There was something very special about the way we shared and supported each other in the old group. It was the one place I could go and feel accepted even when I felt the most vulnerable. After Florence died last year, I found myself without any real support system, and because I naturally pull inside myself when I'm hurting inside, it has been very hard to reach out and reconnect with people. When I participated in the old group, I not only felt supported, I also realized I could contribute something to others in a meaningful way. I miss that. |
