The way that this company handles their loads is a little different from other companies.
The shipper is Vass Pipe. They are based out of New York, but have loads to pick up all over. All loads are flatbed loads.
This is the way it works.
1. When you find a carrier. Call Vass Pipe at 800-272-8277- talk to John this week. He is sitting in for Sam. Next week you will be calling Sam.
2. Vass Pipe will fax you a confirmation sheet to make the pick up. We will need to to send invoice to get paid.
3. Vass Pipe will do their own dispatching, so you will have to get the carrier to call them at 800-272-8277.
4. The driver will get his/her instructions from Vass Pipe, make the pick up and deliver the freight.
5. The carrier will send us the invoice and we will invoice Vass Pipe.
Remember you need to get a carrier to move the load out at less than the amount they are paying, because your money and the carriers money comes out of the figure that Vass Pipe is giving us.

PS: For those of you who have not moved out a load yet, you should know that you will have to call me to get a Trip Contract number on your load.
