Result of Sprint Adventure Race
Although the intent of the Sprint Adventure Race was to allow the campers an opportunity to use the skills learned and to experience their first adventure race, many first timers did incredibly well. Hopefully, all enjoyed the beautiful warm spring afternoon, the icy cold river crossings, virgin rappels, and a challenging climbing wall. 1st - Lawhead, Baughman, McKernin 1:23 (East) 2nd - Wolfpack 1:33 (West) 3rd - Fredrickson 1:43 (East) 4th - Kruse 1:46 (West) 5th - Louck 1:53 (West) 6th - Taylor 2:05 (West) 7th - Abens 2:10 (East) 8th - Etter 2:11 (West) 9th - Wood 2:27 (East) 10th - Larson 2:31 (West) 11th - Heidi 2:45 (East) 12th - Mike 2:52 (West) 13th - Taylor 3:05 (East) 14th - Chisholm 3:05 (East) 15th - Hannon 3:06 (West) 16th - Hernann 3:06 (West) 17th - Burke 3:17 (East) 18th - Fenwick 3:20 (East) 19th - Simon 3:26 (West) What is quite evident by the results, both the east and west courses were quite even and there was no advantage by starting in either direction. |
