Final Camp Update
With less than a week to go to the camp, here are some last minute updates. * We have spent the past couple of weekends at the camp. The majority of the snow has melted. There are still some snowfields left. Bring gaiters if you have them. * The cabins are ready to go. They DO have heaters in them. * Arrive as early as you can on Saturday morning. If you are travelling a long distance to the camp, you can arrive on Friday night after 6:00 p.m. You will be assigned a cabin and will be allowed to check in. There is an additional cost of $20 per person for Friday night. * Bring note taking materials as you will receive a tremendous amount of information on all of the topics presented. * Active Endeavors will be at the camp with gear for sale at a discount. There will be headlamps, rappelling devices, prusik cord, shoes, clothing, carabiners, harnesses, helmets, slings, etc. available. The gear they are bringing has been hand selected by me as gear I recommend and use. * When arriving at the camp, park in the main lot. Check in at the dining hall, the large new facility located west of Sinnissippi Lodge. * Plan on learning alot, having a great time, and meeting alot of like minded adventurers. * If you haven't already done so, please e-mail me your roommate preference.
