I am searching for descendants of an African-American woman whose last name was Burton, who would have been approximately 90 years old in 1978, and whose family originally came from Griffin, Georgia.
Mrs. Burton's mother, whose maiden name was Lela Reid, was born in Griffin. I am not sure if Lela Reid ever lived in Minneapolis, or what her married name was.
