Banana River Resort

I would like to thank everyone who came out to the garage sale this past Saturday at the Banana River Resort. We had a great turnout from the windsurfing community, sailors of all ages showed their support some traveling from as far as Jacksonville to attend! We had a blast selling everything from booms to boards and raised over $2,000 dollars for my 2008 Olympic campaign. The proceeds from the garage sale will help fund my training and traveling expenses, these expenses range from gym memberships and trainers to international flights and accommodations. I am continuing to train for the 2007 World Sailing Championship in Cascais, Portugal in July. As July gets closer and closer I will continue to train in Miami balancing my time between the water, the gym, and preparing for my other upcoming regattas in Brazil, China, and finally my Olympic qualifier in California. I am grateful to everyone who donated, not just with your money but with your TIME. Mike Rayl and Eddy Patricelli spent all day selling gear and answering questions and Chris Lowrie donated gear. Of course my biggest thanks goes out to Beth and Greg Winkler for hosting and promoting the sale. It's a great feeling to know that I have so many people supporting me, I could never do it without you! Thank you, thank you!
