Gear storage rack space available
The US Sailing Center in Miami (one of three official Olympic training centers in the US) has recently invested in better windsurfing facilities with the addition of two 12 board racks. The racks will be used by those training at the site in the RSX olympic class but are also available to formula sailors and other windsurfers. Projected monthly rental is around $20 per month. Contact executive director (and boardhead) Pat Downey at USSC to make arrangements to store your board: usscmiami@bellsouth.net The USSC location and facilities information is available at: www.usscmiami.org Also the USSC is doing a Wed nite series with a cookout afterwards for $5 entry starting at 530pm close to shore for dinghies and windsurfers. This is great for beginners. Formula sailors are welcome to race a few before going out further to the SAL series. |
