Alex Caviglia Bluewater Regatta/Miami/Jan. 2007
This is going to be a knockout event. We are going to have the following: RS-X North Americans (all the top sailors) Open Hybrid (Watch the F2 Lightning) Formula (Watch the Movie Star get beat by Ron) Prodigy (Watch out for Al Simmons) Kona (Watch out for Rafael Sanchez) Raceboard (Watch out Dave Stanger) Snipe (Watch out for Augie Diaz) J-24 Sonar All these classes, out of Shake A Leg, with a bunch of pros and top Olympic Sailors attending. Please spread the word to everyone in Florida, as this time of year is great for wind. Plus, it is 3 days of racing (Jan. 12-14) for 50 bucks, which includes food! You can't beat that.....Online registration available next week, so all you locals should sign up so the planners know you are coming. Word is that Angelito is going to charter an RS-X and kick some ass but we will see, I guess. Miami is where windsurfing is happening. |

All you who were at Bobby's regatta...we expect to see all of you here in January! Report coming soon on Bobby's event at this site from Team Miami. |

Accommodations will be up on the online registration this second week in November. We will have link posted on this site for sure. |

We are also looking at Konas in charter and perhaps Bic Technos as well. Somebody tell Angelito because he is our current reigning Techno Champion and should get into training right away to battle these infidels who may challenge him! |

Longboards will for sure be separate from RS:X and Formula. We will probably run them together with hybrid and Kona, but it depends on how many we get. But the turnout is looking good....I think we will have a hundred people plus. Formula fleet will be strong for sure, and lots of Olympic men and women from all over the world. |
