Message:   Aaron is probably the "Aaron Marshall" whose Revolutionary War "Company Master Roll" show him as enlisted March 2, 1777 as a private from Virginia for a three-year term. He was in the Continental Line #10 in Capt. Thomas Blackwell's Company of Foot, 10th Virginia Regiment of Continental Troops commanded by Col. Edward Stevens.

Aaron's Parents
(Colonel John Marshall and Eliza Ferrall) In a 1931 Daughters of American Revolution application, Col. John Marshall and Eliza Ferrall are claimed to be the parents of Aaron Marshall. Eula M. Pittinger, applicant and third Great Granddaughter of Aaron, stated in her application that her sources were: the Oliver S. Marshall family history (his daughter Virginia says no such history ever existed) and the notations in her Grandfather's Bible (Israel Harvey Cullen of Newell, West Virginia-who was a Great Grandson of Aaron Marshall).
