Well, what did you think? It certainly was wet! Funnily enough, it was the least of my worries! I know a lot of the girls were very cold, even struggling to get their helmets off and their trainers laced up!
I hope the weather hasn't put you off, and that your first experience of triathlon was the first of many.
Generally the majority of competitors are very pleasant, and there were quite a few first timers yesterday.
Normally it can be a pleasant day out for all the family, as you could see at Turriff, the races are often based round parks or green places, and families and friends can usually find a nice spot for a picnic, and wait for their racer to finish. Not yesterday! It was made all the worse when I got home to find that they hadn't had any rain!
Anyway, it was nice to see you again, and maybe see you at Inverurie next month.
