I'm all in favour of trophies for whatever categories are agreed on....I can break down the year's races and entrants to provide whatever statistics would be needed.
On the question of 'something' to keep, I think it would be better to give something more useful like bottle of wine (MPH series prizes this year I believe) or maybe gift vouchers for tri/cycle/run shop.
