The Robotic Woman

Does anyone else get that pop up of a woman who'll say anything you type in the text box when you access this forum????I guess its a reflection on the sad life I lead, but she's fast becoming my best friend! If you haven't typed anything in the text box yet have a go,its Brill!

Re: The Robotic Woman

If only she were a man, it'd be the closest thing to a date I've had in awhile.

Hi Nickie,

Have you been drinking or taking soemthing Nickie?

Whereabouts do you mean. Is it when you post a reply like this or is it something else?

I have to say it's not happening for me.

Re: The Robotic Woman

sorry its not happening for you,Helen!!
when you click on the forum button, this pop up appears with a woman who offers to say anything you want her to say. Then you type a message in a text box, and she says it!!!Hours of fun!!or do you think I just need to get out more??
actually, I think I may have frightened her off cos when I came onto the forum just now she wasn't there.(sniff) perhaps she's turned her attention to suzy?

Re: Re: The Robotic Woman

Nope, Nickie, haven't seen her around. :-)

I don't think she appears every time. Maybe the advertisers have a special deal: every Tuesday after 10am, perhaps? Or a quickie at noon?

Re: The Robotic Woman

I Think, sadly, she may have gone for good, but she was fun while she lasted!what is it they say about simple things pleasing simple minds??think its time we took up a new hobby, suzy-i think the village bell ringers have a vacancy at the moment, and I've always fancied a go at crocheting one of those crinolean ladies you shove over your toilet roll. don't suppose you have a pattern, do you??

Re: The Robotic Woman

I read this at work, Nickie and when I stopped laughing so hard I realized my co-workers were staring at me...and in short, I had to explain why I was laughing and what this board was and who Alan was and the stuff he had been in and why I enjoyed his work so much....and after sharing some DVDs and youtube files, now he has three more fans!

Anyway, thanks for the laughs.

Re: Re: The Robotic Woman

Haha....while I am an artist, I simply cannot handle crochet or knitting. I would much rather work with blowtorches, metal, wood and varnish. It's a pirate's life for me. :-)

Alan related:

Yay, I received my Region 2 Season 2 Jonathan Creek today! Unfortunately, the ep with Rik Mayall is not included. I suspect it has to do with rights or something. Too bad, it was a good one. Saw it on youtube just the other day.
