Oh, dear. Do you need cheering? How are things?

How was the new first QI? I bet it made you laugh, so tell us about it and laugh again!

Also, if you saw the interview with O'Grady (clueless as to who he is) was it funny? I understand there was some mention of a film role soon?

Let us know how you are doing!

Yes, Suzy, there was a mention of a film role, a version of a teenage book called something like Angus Somebody or other and Full frontal Snogging???!!!" Now I know thats totally wrong but I'm sure someone out there will put me right! its based on the diaries of someone called Georgie Nicholsion, and my teenage daughter has read them all which means I'll just have to take her to see the film, won't I??If any of you out there is too embarrassed to go and see a teenagers film on there own, I will loan my lass out to you if you promise to look after her!

Re: Re: Something to cheer a girl up

Jeez, I shoulda picked up on that....I am a children's and teens librarian. It's funny, one of my staff and I were talking about the series just yesterday. This staff member thought the series was humorous but silly, but for some reason she couldn't stop reading it---like a train wreck you couldn't help but watch.

I guess I need to re-read some of it to see how I think Alan could portray the dad.

Thanks for the reminder, Nickie!
