Where is everyone?
Hi All, I was beginning to think that everyone had gone to an Alan convention in the Outer Hebrides and forgot to tell me about it.  Where is everyone?  Anyway if you are all at at an Alan convention you will be missing J Creek tonight at 9.40pm.  Take Care Helen x |

Hiya! Oooh an Alan convention sounds good! I haven't been online for about 3 weeks because of holiday (yay!) and being busy back at school (nooo!)but hi! Hope everyone else is alive and well too! Jonathon Creek on tv woooo!! Oh, just realised the message was posted yesterday, oh well will have to watch dvds instead!! Hope everyone's good! Amy x p.s does anyone like ardal o'hanlon? |

Yep I'm here too but I really should be treating a patient so have to be quick and sneaky!maybe everyone is making the same mistake as i did and are ploughing through that richard and Judy book that Alan reviewed. Don't know what he thought of it, but I think its dire!!! Keep swotting away at school Amy....only another 5 weeks to your next holiday!

Was it the this book will save your life one? It's a bit weird, the guy is such a perv lol, but i thought it was ok! Nickie u total rebel :D Yeah, can't wait! And then only about 7months of school ever!!! (but then a levels o well!) |

yeah, followed by the 3 years or so of lurching from one party to the next in betwen inter-railing jaunts around Europe that we call "university" eh Amy. The book was called "this BoolWill Save Your Life" by A Homes....."This Book Will waste Your Life",more like!! Certainly not the best read I've ever had....not sure what it was trying to say, really,or have i missed something? suzy,the review was a verbal one on the t.v. on a pretty tame p.m. show which is basically a chat show hosted by a hubby and wife team called Richard and Judy.....not that I ever watch it of course.........NO NO!Think helen saw that particular episode. Back to the patients now, just to prove i'm not a total rebel!

Ah, okay, thanks Nickie. I seem to remember from the deep wells of consciousness as to which you showing you are referring. I think it was with the guy who talked about someone else getting snipped. I get the feeling that R&J are the objects of humor? Perhaps like Jerry Springer is, or even perhaps Dr. Phil (if you know who they are)in the US? I so envy you all for getting to see the new eps of QI soon. s |

Richard and judy objects of humour??????? I'll have you know they're just a short step down from royalty!!judy is this blonde mummy type who puts up with her toy boy husband Richard who likes nothing better than to talk at length about the menopause and his experience of post natal depression, but they're innocent enough,i s'pose. Yes have heard of jerry Springer.....not sure about Dr Phil though.

Hi All, Yes, Nickie is right and has a good memory. I did watch Alan give that review on Richard and Judy. I haven't read the book yet, but Alan did seem to think it was ok. Richard and Judy are such a British concept aren't they. I don't go all out to watch them but sometimes come across them by accident. Richard thinks he's cool but he's not really and Judy appears to be embarresed of everything he says. You get the impression they would both love to run the show withhout each other but can't cos of the contract. Glad to see you are all around anyway.  Take Care Helen
