I am a newly retired teacher in the U.S. I just saw "Bob and Rose". As a result, I will be a fan of Alan Davies for life. Bravo for bringing such humanity to your character, Mr. Davies. I feel greatly enriched by these episodes. Bless you and much luck in your career and life. |

I agree - he was brilliant. I would SO love to see him in more more more dramatic roles

In one of the interviews lodged somewhere on the 'net, Alan says Bob and Rose is the thing he's most proud of. He's done some good stuff since (theater) so I don't know if he still feels that way. I do know that I loved B&R and still watch it occasionally when I need to be reminded of how people can be terribly confused about what life brings them, but still manage to be warm and forgiving whilst in the mess. s |
